Well since I've been writing quite a few philosophy and history papers lately I've decided to put up another poem. I hope you find it inspirational. I have found the music of Dave King of Flogging Molly to be a true inspiration to my poetry. For the most part it should be read in almost a sing-song fashion. Enjoy.
You'll keep me waiting, waiting on you
So what should I do?
I'll sit in this prison and wait for you
I wander around the whole world through
Seeking some answers, looking for you
You glide on past and tickle the air
leaving it smelling faint yet fair
I walk through the world losing the smell
Locked in my prison, locked in my hell
Speaking you whisper, surrenders within
You left my side, left it for him
You'd keep me waiting, waiting on you
So what should I do?
I'd sit in this prison and wait here for you
So now we've grown further years apart
I've missed you so, ask my poor little heart
Abandon the life, and the pain that you feel
Leave it behind, forward I go
No more stumble in life, your doin alright
Head held high we trudge on ahead
You'll keep me waiting, waiting on you
So what should I do?
I'll sit in this prison and wait here for you
You see a reflection lost in uncertainty
You long to chase it but know its just me
Turning away, away in futility
I'm sorry my love its not meant to be
So now you're forgotten except in my dreams
to me it don't matter nor you it seems
That's fine with me I'll move on along
leaving you and this prison, to some other song
You'd have kept me waiting, waiting on you
So what should I do?
Leave this prison, and forget about you
Forget about you, Forget about you.
You'll keep me waiting, waiting on you
So what should I do?
I'll sit in this prison and wait for you
I wander around the whole world through
Seeking some answers, looking for you
You glide on past and tickle the air
leaving it smelling faint yet fair
I walk through the world losing the smell
Locked in my prison, locked in my hell
Speaking you whisper, surrenders within
You left my side, left it for him
You'd keep me waiting, waiting on you
So what should I do?
I'd sit in this prison and wait here for you
So now we've grown further years apart

Forget about you, Forget about you.
